When "Big Red" is not running, I throw a piece of fleece over her. This
keeps lint off of the threads, and out of the needlecase, etc.
During cold weather (or any time the humidity drops and static becomes a
problem) I spray the inside of the "cover" with an anti-static spray before I
cover her up. It seems to help, but maybe that's just wishful thinking on my
part
