I think our single head Melco is around that age also!
We also have a 4 head emc64t that hasn't been working so good.
We are going to work on having it converted to be our cap machine.

We also own 4 Amayas and I hate even thinking of doing caps on the other machine
especially when it comes to trimming! But I won't have the same trouble with
the center
sinking in so much either,

Great to hear about "sew" many combinations! (pun intended)

Have a great day!

We have a Melco Superstar which is so old any machine any of you have is newer!
It still runs ok but the difference in look between
the Amaya and Superstar is like night and day. We use the old one for
individual names and some of our programs that we have
written and would be too time consuming to rewrite for the Amaya. We talk nice
to it every time we pass it up for the Amaya tho!
It has served us for 15 years and was 8 years old when we bought it. Can't
beat that kind of record very often!

  Just curious -

How many Amaya owners own other commercial embroidery machines or have owned
  before they purchased their Amaya?

We have a Melco EMT in addition to our 2 Amayas - I am constantly comparing
the 3 machines and I was wondering if anyone else was in that position.

  Thanks.
