Please don't hit me for saying this but it is the solution.
Move the cap 1/8" to the right before sewing.
Because caps are curved - the light will not show you the true center - as it's
not positioned directly in line with the needle. See, if you corrected it for
caps, then you would be sewing flats 1/8" off....
