I contacted the National FFA Organization and they responded with the following message: Thank you for your e-mail regarding the use of FFA digitized files of the registered trademark of the FFA. FFA does have .dst and .emb embroidery files for use by chapters to supply to third party vendors for the embroidery of items ordered specifically for FFA chapter. FFA trademark policy does not permit me to forward a file to a vendor until an order from the local chapter has been sent to the vendor. As you know, the FFA registered trademark cannot be used to make product for subsequent sale to FFA chapter or at retail. All products carrying the FFA emblem must be made at the local chapters request. Your local Chapter Advisor must send an e-mail indicating that your local FFA Chapter has placed or is intending to place an order with your company. It should include what is being produced and how it is to be used. Once we have this e-mail on file, I will forward the digitized files to you coping the advisor. Please call me if you have any questions. If you are not I would advise you to sew no further until you do so. They will come after you with smoking guns if you are using anything other than the sew file they provide for free. They file they provide sews just fine for me.
