Just wondering, have you centered the hoop on the machine itself? I now do
this before loading a design and again after selecting a new hoop in the OS.

Thanks, Russell.

I now understand the second one. -- That is, the old design stays on
screen until another is loaded.

However, the first one does not work. I have gone back, centered the
design, chosen the 8.19 circular hoop, saved it as a new design. But
when I load it in the machine, it comes up with the large rectangle
hoop, and it is positioned way to the left of center--so far to the left
of center that when I trace it on the 8.19 circular hoop, it is
basically outside the hoop.

Any further suggestions?

Hi Bill,

Problem a) Make sure you center the design in DesignShop before you save
it,=20
it is the button with the circle and 4 arrows pointing inwards.

Problem b) Use the reset design button then you will be able to load
another=20
design.

if you hover the pointer over the buttons in the OS and DesignShop it
will=20
tell you what they are.
