Following the end of the p-Pb run ALICE had every reason to 
celebrate<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=ALICEpartyP2> the successful end 
of this adventure<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/endpPBrun>. ALICE events from 
the proton-lead run were also presented in the “LHC on Tour” 
exhibition<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=LHCscottishparliament> in the 
Main Hall of the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.

We would like to congratulate the New Junior 
Representatives<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=newjuniorCB> and welcome 
Lucile Hervet<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/lucilehervet> in our editorial 
team.

Rosi Reed and Marta Verweij are giving an overview of the jet measurements in 
ALICE<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=ALICEjetquenching> following a four 
day workshop hosted by CERN. Panos Christakoglou is also discussing whether 
"Heavy-Ion collisions cast light on strong 
CP"<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=CPviolationQGP>

ALICE Matter is also focusing on: Stefan 
Rossegger<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=StefanRossegger> a physicist who 
is currently working on the ITS Upgrade while we also follow Italian students 
who spend a week in 
ALICE<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=masterclassitalianstudent> who shared 
their experience with us.

Finally,Jan Maria Pluta writes about Wiktor 
Peryt<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=wiktorperyt> 
(1944-2013)<http://alicematters.web.cern.ch/?q=wiktorperyt>, a great 
collaborator from the Warsaw University of Technology.
