Good news; bad news

I went down to the brewery today to talk to Heidi about the heat.

Good news is that we decided to move everything inside into the AC!

Bad news is that the space is a bit smaller so we're going to be a little bit more packed in...

I talked and complained to everyone I could about the weather, but in the end, no one wound up doing anything about it.

We'll make it work, and we'll still have a good time!

OK guys, I had a good conversation with Larry about the flow of events on Saturday. If you notice from the schedule, there is no transition time between acts.  We want to keep on schedule as much as possible, so we need to set a hard stop time and transition as quickly as possible. So:

1) Please get there as early as possible;
2) Check in with me when you get there; I will be near the front of the stage and carrying a fluorescent orange clipboard. I will be acting as both MC and stage manager.
3) Check in with Larry Hinkle; he is the sound guy and I have provided him a list of what you all have said is needed. He will be the somewhat skinny guy hovering near the mixer and most likely wearing a Hinkle Ukulele hat.
4) If you can't get to me for some reason, check in with Larry first.
5) Have whatever you need ready to go on stage before the end of the previous performance.  Check twice, cut once.
6) To keep us on schedule, we need to end each performance on time (or as close as possible).
7) I will flash my *fluorescent orange clipboard* at you when you have 5 minutes left or time to perform one more song.
8) Please leave time for any standing ovation that may occur after your performance. ONE callback MAY be allowed if necessary to avoid crowd rioting, time permitting.
9) After finishing, please take your stuff off stage promptly!
10) Please cool off and have a beer. (Note: You will be inside, out of the sun, but it will still be HOT.  Dress appropriately and hydrate.)
11) Please have fun!

Any questions?
