 Please join the Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired at the first in 
a series of Tech Workshops where we'll explore accessible cell phone technology.

 You can attend this event in-person, through a telephone conferencing service 
or by live stream on our website. 

 

 The event will be held at the LightHouse, located at 214 Van Ness Ave, San 
Francisco, CA 94102.

 

 This location is wheelchair accessible. Assisted listening devices and other 
disability accommodations are available on request. To attend via conference

the LG Phones

 

2:40:     Panel Presentation: Using Screen readers and Screen Magnification 
Software to gain access to the phone's features 

 

3:15:     Panel Presentation: Pocket PC Phones

 

 Panelists include representatives from the American Foundation for the Blind, 
Sensory Access Foundation, Access Ingenuity, and more! Panelists as well as 
Representatives from Sprint, Verizon, Cingular and T-Mobile have been asked to 
remain at the Lighthouse until 5:00. There will be an opportunity for those who 
attend in-person to ask questions and get your hands on some accessible phones.
