I suggest that we cancel this Tuesday and use that time to have a chat to map
out next steps. Yes?

Something else to consider is that we do have members who are in the categories
more vulnerable to the severe complications of the virus. Some of them might
already be planning to avoid larger gatherings, such as rehearsals. So even if
we were to rehearse at CUMC (which I agree is probably not what they want right
now), we could see a much higher number of missing players than what we are
accustomed to

I’m with Mike. Not sure we need to meet in person, especially if we’re not all
available. I think we can probably hammer everything out via email, really.
Building on what Tom said, I would think that if the church is suspending
services, they’re not going to want a lot of people traipsing in from all over
town, even if they don’t say that directly. Just a hunch. I think that needs to
be included in any of our discussions.

I think we should meet remotely. We can discuss via email. I can set up a Zoom
meeting if we want to meet in real time. You can participate in Zoom via
computer, mobile device or phone (dial in). We can also record the zoom
meeting.

I am available to meet on Sunday if need be.
Whether we meet if not, I think the things to consider are:
-how do we know when it is no longer advisable to gather for rehearsal?
-how long do we pause? How will we know when it’s ok to resume? Music is an
outlet for people in an otherwise stressful time.
-Our concerts are a ways away now that tcmf is postponed. A mid season break
could still leave us time to put together a respectable concert if we end up
being able to.
-CUMC has suspended services, do we need to ask them if they are ok with us
still using their space?
What other things do we need to consider?
If we decide to meet, we can use CUMC, or we can meet at my house just a bit
north of the church. I don’t think it matters too much where.

I think it's worth considering, particularly now that there's a confirmed case
in the UT community. It's easy to picture routes of virus transmission from
there. 🙁
As far as this weekend goes, I'm available Sunday afternoon if that works for
anyone else.

Honk has been postponed. It was supposed to be early April. Tcmf Is probably
just far enough out to still go one way or the other depending on how things
play out.
NABBA in mid April is looking less and less likely.

Sorry, I lied. 😉 As much as I hate to bring this up, is it time for us to make
a plan regarding if/when we might cancel or reschedule ACWE events? (I’m mainly
thinking about rehearsals for now, not concerts.) I know this is a complex
situation, and no one wants to cancel anything unnecessarily, but I do think
it’d be good for us to start this discussion so that we are prepared if we do
have to make a decision like this. What are your thoughts?
