Ellen, actually it did not go through. I didn't realize at first that you
had addressed it to both the acwe list and the board list. Not sure why it
did not go through. Try sending to just the acwe list.

Can a board member let me know if the email below went through on the
acwe freelist email. Apparently I not set up to talk to myself on that
server list.
Thanks,
Ellen

*Subject:* [acweboard] Information about Dougherty Art Center
Performance - Saturday, May 21, 2022
Good Afternoon
I walked through Dougherty Performance Center and have some information
about the upcoming performance.
- Musicians will need to bring their own stands.
- Call time is 6:15. Due to insurance reasons, musicians will not be
permitted into the performance center until I arrive. Therefore, I am
going to have to work on coming to concerts on a timely basis and am
planning on being at Dougherty between 5:15 and 5:30 on Saturday
afternoon.
- There will be a sign in sheet for ACWE members to sign as they
arrive. This will be at the front desk. Band members need to sign in.
Audience members do not need to sign in.
- Folding Chairs will be available however they will not be set up.
I will need a few band members to help me set up chairs.
- There is an unloading area in the back of the building behind the
stage. The trailer and truck can stay parked there.
- Instrument case storage will be in the two dressing rooms on the
left side of the stage (facing the stage). The Art Resource room will
also
be available for storage as well as the area behind the stage.
- Parking appears to be very limited. There are 28 spaces in the
front of the building. There is also parking on the road along the right
side of the building and the loop behind the performance center. We have
been asked not to park in front of the garage doors in the building behind
Dougherty. While signage indicates that parking is free after 5:00
p.m.,
there will parking permits that will be printed for ACWE members to place
in their cars. The permits will be at the front counter as members enter
the performance center. Also, I was told that there is paid parking on
Lee Barton Drive one block from Dougherty.
- We will have lighting available for us to use. However because we
are ACWE we will not need sound assistance.
- Remember... the dress code for this performance is black top, black
bottoms.
Let me know if you have any questions. I will see you Saturday!
