I’m not sure I can make it to the meeting, since I have a conflicting
commitment. If that ends early, I’ll try to join for the tail end. A few things
that I should report:
* Ron Reed just donated 2 file cabinets to ACWE, which finally gives me a
place to store small ensemble music. I asked if he wanted a receipt for the
donation, but he declined and said we could just count it as his dues payment
for the year. That seemed logical to me, so I basically granted him a waiver
for this year. Melissa, wanted to let you know that.
* Melissa and I are working (with Kathie) on ordering another piece for
this season, a harp solo to be performed by Willow Goldsmith with ACWE
accompaniment. At this point I don’t think I’ll be able to get copies done by
Tuesday, so I’ll pass it out next week.
* TCMF is coming up, so we probably need to look into shirts, assuming we
want to wear them again (and I really think we should). I have somewhere a list
of people who were ordering shirts before the shutdown—those were never
ordered—but it will likely need some curation. Some of those people are
probably not around now, some got shirts this summer, etc. I’ll plan to send an
email out to the group with a list of those people and ask them to check with
me on Tuesday. I think we should also note that people who already have shirts
but need different sizes/replacements can certainly order a new one but they’ll
have to pay for the replacement. This summer I did a few swaps for people but
it was a logistical nightmare and I really don’t want to go through that again.
It was mostly just because we didn’t have time to make a new order.
