planning? Will that be part of the survey?

Hello Band,
Thank you very much to those who responded to the survey we sent out last
week. The results were very informative regarding what participation and
instrumentation we could expect at various COVID Alert stages.
Fundamentally, we will not have sufficient representation in either
category to function as a band until Austin is back to stage 2 or 3. With
that information and with forecasted circumstances for the Fall, *the
board has decided that ACWE will postpone resuming full rehearsals until
January 2022. *
BUT
There does seem to be sufficient interest to potentially form multiple
smaller ensembles this Fall. In the next few days, we will send another
survey asking for information from those interested in playing in smaller
groups. Our hope is that the smaller groups would be able to rehearse
during the Fall, and perhaps perform at one or several of the venues ACWE
has booked for the Holiday season in December.
Please keep an eye out for that survey!
