I will be out tonight, but I wanted to remind everyone: *Showcase Sets
will open in the next week!*
Showcase Set bookings are for *TWO adjacent 15-minute sets*, with a one
hour mainstage set in between. We will be using the small ACWE-owned
portable PA system -- the sound tech is happy to help you set up, and/or
our hosts and some of our volunteers are tech-savvy as well.
These sets are only available on Saturdays and Sundays, and are intended
for solo or duet singer-songwriter type musicians, small groups without an
elaborate setup (i.e., no drum sets, amps, intricate effects loops, etc),
or ensembles that don't require amplification at all (I'm looking at you,
trombones!)
To get a notification about sign-ups opening -- and they will fill fast! --
go to www.TCMFestival.com, enter your email address in the field in the
right margin, and hit "subscribe." You can unsubscribe at any time, we
don't share email addresses, yadda yadda. Herb will send out an
announcement when he goes live, so be sure to use an address you check
often!
