1. What committee structure would you like for the group?
*A small (elected) committee with a number of working groups? *
2. What do you see as the main priorities for the coming year?
a. Setting up a repository to share general tactile graphics masters. Round
Table has promised structural support.
*This would be a vital resource for all of us.*
b. Share and evaluate pedagogy for teaching tactile graphics.
*I think this is an essential element that has been identified as lacking
in our systems. We can spend time producing fantastic graphics, however
they are not useful if the students are not given the skills to read them. *
c. Examine existing guidelines for tactile graphic production, with the aim
of identifying agreed standards/recommendations.
*Perhaps the number 1 Priority. We should be producing graphics of an
agreed standard and this ensures consistency across all areas of
production.*
d. Communications. Are the ANZAGG listserv, facebook group and web pages
serving their intended purposes? Can you suggest improvements or
streamlining?
