Alice, since iPhones come with either 30-pin or the newer lightning connector introduced with the iPhone 5, you might want to tell the list what model you'll be using with any recommended speaker docks. But if it's blue tooth, doesn't it gobble up battery power faster? And then, I'd have to plug the phone into an outlet as well, right? I was thinking more along the lines of one of those things where you stick the phone into it where you'd normally put the charger into it, and the phone sits in that and blasts away through the speakers or speaker in it. But I'll check out your BeatBox recommendation, too. Thanks! Alice On Jun 28, 2013, at 1:48 AM, Ibrahim Gucukoglu <ibrahim_gucukoglu@xxxxxxxx> wrote: Hi Alice How about a small Bluetooth speaker. There are several on the markets, they are both compact and portable and you can take them anywhere you want and use them around the house or anywhere else for that matter. I have one called the beat box, it is an excellent little speaker which is very easy to use and has very tactile buttons. Are those things called docking stations or something, where the phone will be charging as it plays, and the speakers are pretty good for listening to music or NPR or even a book or newspaper? what do you all use that you think has good sound? I don't really like bass-heavy sound, so that's not something I am looking for, that super bass-boosted effect. Thanks for all suggestions and recommendations!
