Alice, since iPhones come with either 30-pin or the newer lightning
connector introduced with the iPhone 5, you might want to tell the list what
model you'll be using with any recommended speaker docks.

That sounds good.loud and small are both good things for my purposes!
But if it's blue tooth, doesn't it gobble up battery power faster? And then,
I'd have to plug the phone into an outlet as well, right?
I was thinking more along the lines of one of those things where you stick
the phone into it where you'd normally put the charger into it, and the
phone sits in that and blasts away through the speakers or speaker in it.
But I'll check out your BeatBox recommendation, too.

called the beat box, it is an excellent little speaker which is very easy to
