Hi:
Bose is always expensive but you either love it or hate it. Couldn't believe my wife's $100.00 ear buds but the sound is unbelieveable and I suspect the speaker will also have great sound.

I have been looking for the perfect ipod music player for years. I am now leaning towards a bluetooth speakerdock. I checked out many online reviews, and there are lots of options. For portability, nothing seems
to top the Bose Soundlink Mini and/or Jawbone Jambox. The Bose
Soundlink Mini is coming out in July and it gets good reviews for a preorder item. It is bluetooth, but does have an aux port. It does not appear to charge iPhone if you were to use the aux port for music
playback, although the audio quality would likely improve.

the other item I am considering is the Klipsch KMC. It is considerably larger but has much improved quality over the smaller units. I am willing to sacrifice iPhone charging capability for portability, so these are the two units that top my list. One for your jacket pocket
(Bose Soundlink Mini) and the other (KMC) for an outdoor party.

I have a backup battery for charging devices such as iPhone, so
battery recharging is not as much of an issue for me.

Hi, Alan,
Good question.I currently have a 3GS or whatever it's called. I'm
thinking
of upgrading, and in light of the recent discussion here on the list, I
guess I'll go ahead and upgrade to the 5.
But either way, can't one get an adapter?
I poked around on Amazon, and many of the ones there are the 30 prong
connection.
So any and all recommendations welcome, and if I see one that I really
like,
and it's the lightning connector, then I guess my upgrade will be
imminent!
Thanks!

Alice, since iPhones come with either 30-pin or the newer lightning connector introduced with the iPhone 5, you might want to tell the list With questions, concerns or issues not related to the topics discussed on list please email the list admin to: beto.arreola22@xxxxxxxxx, or on skype
