Hi, no this will depend on each app individually the majority don't.

Thanks and is this minimise app in all the applications beyond u-tube?

Again thanks for explaing this basic concept of minimizing in the I-phone environment for this novice and hope I'm not offending anyone on this list for these basic questions.

Frankly I'm an old guy who came from a dos environent in the olden ddays and am often very confused by these new platforms, even basics.

Again many thanks and hope I again haven't offended anyone, but another question here if one might: "Are there some good online tutorials that I can download with my ancient JAWS XP platform so I can just figure out many of the basics?

And in addition I wish to ask the same for MAC Books.

For I hope to have the latter in the next few months.

Again thanks for not ragging with this grizzly type who is way behind the curve in the modern environment. I'm just an old babe in the woods so to speak and you younger folks and more expereinced types are light years ahead of me.

BTW I'm just an applications sort of guy. I just want to know how to communicate effectively and how to use the apps to the maximum extent feasable in order to live, work, and play along with the sighted world.

sorry for the ramble and, frustration, and many thanks to all for understanding.

Well, if we talking about YouTube app minimizing the player window is its feature and doesn't affect other apps. Youtube as a multiplatform service gives the possibility for PIP (Picture in Picture) while playing the video. Using that feature you can browse other results and perform a variety of other service functions while you watching something on Youtube. In IOS app enviroment when you pause watched video and double tap the "minimize player" button it will shrink to the right bottom part of the screen and you are able to do whatever you want with the functions and features on the rest of the screen.

Hi,
Guess this relates to this thread, and certainly hope so for I do not
wish to offend list etiquet. But, I'm a very new user and don't even
know how to "minimise" in the I-phone environment.

Please bare with me here for I'm a blind guy who has gone from windows
to the I-phone and doesn't even know basic gestures all the time.

Hope this issue is on topic and not too stupid.

Hi, if you paws the video being watched they will appear or if you
minimize it it will do the same thing.

Hi!
The Share button appears in certain circumstances, I didn't quite
determine the exact procedure but I got it more by accident when I
minimized the player, browsed other results in the list, maximized the
player again and there was Share and some more buttons before the
Video Player heading or whatever it is in the app.
Guess you need to perform some specific tap or gesture to reveal those
buttons, when I determine how to do it exactly I'll write to the list.

How do you do this, copy and paste? In the previous version of
YouTube, you used to be able to tap on the share button, and copy and
paste and share from there… However, now I can't seem to find a way
to do this...
