Hi everyone, I bought a Nexus 7 3 weeks ago. I've been busy and haven't had much time to play with it, but this morning I decided I'd download and install the Acapela text-to-speech engine because I've been hearing good things about the quality of the voices. After downloading and installing the Acapela engine, I went into TalkBack settings and changed from the original Google voice to the Acapela speech engine. I assumed, incorrectly, that the engine would just change, and I'd still have speech. As soon as I confirmed that I wished to change to the Acapela speech engine, my Nexus went silent. I now have no speech, and, at this moment, no sighted assistance. What do I need to do to get speech back? Is there a way to turn TalkBack off and then back on again without sighted assistance? I'm running Android 4.2.2. Thanks for any help or advice. I can't believe that one can't switch speech engines without sighted help… please tell me this isn't the case?
