I've used an app on my older samsung galaxy Y pro called easy answer, and on
current newer jellybean 4.1 full-touch-screen unit, I use an app called shake
call answer, and they both work alright for me in terms of answering a call
using gestures etc. - only thing is with newer versions of talkback, you might
need to turn off the talkback use of shake to start continuous reading, to then
let something like shake call use the gesture to answer calls, and, the other
nice thing with shake call is you can sort of set the level of shake to
actually answer a call, etc.

Stay well

Thank you. I did check the tech support I have that is excellent for the
Optimus, and it may be a quirk specific to my device. Meanwhile, I’ll install
the ATT mobile accessibility and use its featur for using volume buttons to
answer a call.

  Thanks again.

The best suggestion is getting someone sighted to tell you if anything
appears on the screen while the phone is ringing. When you do that just have
them tell you where it is found and then you can practice that way.

    Hello again,

I have tried calling myself several times. If my screen isn’t locked in
the first place, it is very easy tofind the answer button to answer the
incoming call. However, if my screen is locked, which is usually the case when
not being used. Nothing appears on the screen, at least there is no vibratory
feedback, and swiping does nothing to answer. Are there any settings in the
Android itself I need to change, or do you have any ideas for me.

BTW, my keyboard solution is that I need to use the EqualEyes keyboard, and
everything then works fine for me creating new messages.

    Thanks again for your expertice.
