Hi list members,
Thanks to everyone for the prompt and informative responses to my Windows
security problem.
As it turned out, there were a few passengers on my system that my antivirus
software took a while to contain and cure.
I was unpleasantly surprised to discover how easy it is to have your computer
compromised by malacious software.
Again, thanks for the many helpful suggestions.
