Thanks Jamie.

I didn't find a security question option on the screen. It would have
definitely been easier that way. :)

I have been trying to find the right contact form for reaching Facebook to
tell them of my problem, but that seems as much of a problem as logging in.
:)

There are so many links and sub-links on their help center page.

I am thinking about seeing if I can reset my password to see if that works.
What do you think? I read that as a possible solution when I googled the
problem.

I got the following message from Facebook via email if it makes any sense to
anyone.

I logged in two times this week with no problem.

However, I did just install a new router last week. Would this have anything
to do with it? :)

Dear Alvin,

Your Facebook account was recently logged into from a computer, mobile
device or other location you've never used before. For your protection,
we've temporarily locked your account until you can review this activity and
make sure no one is using your account without your permission.

Did you log into Facebook from a new device or an unusual location?

- If this was not you, please log into Facebook from your computer and
follow the instructions provided to help you control your account
information.

- If this was you, there's no need to worry. Simply log into Facebook again

This happened to me as well. I had a choice though to answering my security
question or trying to idenfying three of my friends faces. Of course I
choose the security question. I answered it and has been good since. I
would be ashame if this option is gone. I would say if there is a contact
form for facebook and write and tell them of what is going on and see if
they can help. I wish I could of more assistance.

Subject: [accesscomp] Facebook log in issues

Hi List,

It's AC. I tried to log back into my Facebook account this morning after I
had sent a message to one of my friends, but I got the message that my
account had been temporarily locked.

I then tried to log in using Firefox since I noticed the captcha, and got
pas it, but they want me to verify my identity through pics of my friends.

Is there another way I can get my account back working? Is there any contact
info for tech support you all may know of outside of the website?

I use the Mobile website from my laptop just in case you were wondering.

M.facebook.com

I did receive a message from Facebook regarding this if someone thinks it
may help. Let me know, and I will share it.

Thanks in advance!

Alvin
