Sue, Well sometimes people such as friends will post warnings about viruses and
TV will also air them sometimes on the news, but privacy and security is mainly
to guard against people getting info that you don't want them to have such as
friends of friends and so on like your posts, view your profile and so on.. you
can also block people out and unfriend people you have added as friends, but
maybe you alreaydy know this.. The like buttons are something Idon't use as my
cousin's son-in-law got a bad virus by hitting the like gbutton on one called
If youbelieve in Jesus or something like that and he liked to have never got it
off his profile page, it kept adding that picture on his page and on the pages
of all his friends if I remember what she told me right, so I quit using the
like buttons, I don't press those anymore.. Also be on the alert for people
posing as military officers and sending you a friend request, they are usually
identity theft scams and get these pics of these officers off the net and set
up a profile page as impersonators of these military guys and propose undying
love to the woman once she accepts him as her friend, then e-mails her several
times then wants info out of her or wants to get her to help him with a so
called gold trunk scam, there are always scams of this sort of FB, you just
have to be on guard for all this.. I believe you can go into accounts &
settings and set your privacy settings for something like "myself here: "and
"friends", you could ask support about this, exactly how to set it, but there
is a way, I did it a good while back but can't remember how now, it has been a
good while back, and this keeps everyone who wants to from knowing where you
are logging in on facebook from, another words, your location.. Again, good
luck with all this, FB is fun and interesting but a word to the wise, be alert
at all times when you use it and don't add anyone as a friend, you really do
not know regardless of how good the notification sounds, they may be attempting
to steal your identity.. Good luck Pat Dallas

I have found that m.facebook is alright but does miss some things, that is
because it is condensed for mobil phones also.. One has to tread very carefully
on FB though as aps and games and some of the items on it are prone to viruses
and also be sure to set your privacy settings, it can tell someone where you
are sitting and sitting, your actual address, there is a way to fix that in the
account and settings in the privacy section, if you are not sure, get someone
to help you or go to the support link.. Pat

Okay Facebook experts, FB has a feature where supposedly you type
in a person's name with the @ sign before it in your status and it tags them.
When I type the @ sign, it just shows up as an @ sign. Others tell me a
drop-down list shows up with names. I cannot find that with Jaws. I am running
Jaws 10. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
