Was it a totally clean install, or an in place upgrade?  I've
generally found a re-format and install from scratch to be the best
option, having saved documents, etc..

Also, being a netbook, memory may be a tight.  Ideally you want 2MB or
above, regardless of what M/Soft may state for Windows 7, especially
if running a screen reader.

hi all hope all are ok sorry if this is off topic question but had to
post it no alternatives my friend has just upgraded to windows 7
ultimate version from xpsp3 home on hir dell inspiron mini 10 (1012)
netbook what she and i are observing is that compaired to windows xp
the startup time of windows7 is more i mean windows7 takes more time
to start then windows xp why is it so and is there any way of
reduceing starte up time and make = to windows xp or atlist make the
netbook start a little more faster please tell me i like windows 7 its
coppying and internet speed is much faster then xp
