Wow! Windows 7 Ultimate on a netbook! Way cool!Anyway the only way I know to improve startup time is by using CCleaner's startup tool. Alternatively try adding some more memory to the netbook. Windows 7 runs minimally on 1GB of RAM. 2GB is the recommended amount. Just to say there is an alternative; the Blind Windows 7 list.
