It may well be the codec pack I have installed. I wouldn't know how to find this out. I get a lot of errors which talk of various pin numbers not being supported or something or other. I then try the same file at home and it sails through VLC. I'll take more note of the next error which might not be for some time. -----Original Message----- From: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Amro Bilal Sent: 06 June 2014 10:26 To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [access-uk] Re: windows media player Hi David, what formats you find that MPC isn’t able to handle if you don’t mind me asking? I’m intrigued. I strongly suspect that it is to do with the codec pack version you have installed. I install k-lite codec (full) and yet to come across a media file format that isn’t supported including Real Media files. Other than files with DRM, MPC can play all type of media files out there. I downloaded MPC few years ago and never looked back since. I believe MPC uses VLC as its core.
