Hi,
Pretty much yes. The whole ethos of Google and Apple with iOS is that you
use the Internet. You can side load apps, but not books as far as I know.
All the best

Hi Steve
Ok that says all, you are stuck without the internet.
Thanks.

Hi,
With Google Play Books, he would have to log in and upload
them to his
Google Play account. You can't side load from a PC.

Subject: [access-uk] windows 7 to nexus 7
Hi
I wanted to try and help my landlords, their internet is not
working. I connected his nexus 7 to my laptop in order to
copy some epub books across for him to read. I have not used
a nexus 7 before. I opened the nexus in my computer, then
internal memory, books and put the epub books there. The
only problem is, he is unable to see the books, what am I
doing wrong? Do the books need to be in a particular format?
Having no internet makes it tricky. Normally he would use
google play books. Is there a way to find the books on his
nexus that neither he or I know about?
Regards
Adrien
