Billy, unless you are getting yourself a new PC or consider yourself an 
advanced computer user capable of solving many of your own problems without 
to much recorse to others I would say none at all for the time being.  The 
fact that you do not know the answer to this question already does ring 
certain alarm bells here.

JAWS is currently in Beta so cannot be guaranteed to work well with Vista.

It may be of course that you are getting a new computer and really have no 
choice.  In this situation I would suggest the Vista home Premium edition. 
from what I can gather, the basic edition really is rather too basic.
