no sooner had i sent my previous message when i got a reply from the
voicedream mail developer.
below are the commands he sent me.
but i did also ask him about there being no text on the screen, when reading a
message, if the app automatically checks for new emails and
asked about there being no sound to let you know when new mail arrives
but he didn't respond to any of these questions.

Herere the commands:
Tap to play or pause.
Swipe left or right for the previous or next email.
Swipe-up to flag an email.
Swipe-down to trash it.
Double tap to reply.
2 fingers tap, or swipe right from the left edge of the screen to go back.
Tap and hold to hear additional commands.
