Why are they difficult? What would make them easier? They speak the
information you want, and you can even ask them where you are by voice.
I am not being awkward, just asking questions as to how we could make stuff
like that easier.
I use GPS with a Bluetooth headset for example, and although I use Android,
I know that Blindsquare supports control via a Bluetooth headset. You can
use the prev, next, play/pause buttons for example to carry out GPS
functions.

I think the GPS apps are great for planning a route but incredibly difficult
to use whilst on the move. Recently the Techshare feature really brought
this to home and I realised I wasn't alone in finding these apps difficult
to use on the move.
Aps like Blind Square and other similar apps could be very useful whilst on
buses or in cars for letting you know where you are however.
