Hi,

That error (the 4xx code) is a temporary failure on NTL side, probably
as a result of trying to resolve DNS records etc which cannot be
resolved. The mail will be retried until a specific limit, and then
bounced back to you. The error is generated from the NTL mail server.

Changing the email address in Messenger involves creating a new
passport.

Andrew.

Subject: [access-uk] undeliverable error with outlook express

Since my change to Wanadoo Livebox, some of my mail come back to me as
undelivered with the following error message:
host smtpin.ntlworld.com[81.103.221.10] said: 452
Message rejected (in reply to end of DATA command)
I've written to the postmaster at Wanadoo as suggested
 but don't get any reply.
The baffling thing is this only occurs with NTL addresses, I think.
Must do more tests to be absolutely sure.
I've looked everywhere in my settings and can't find anything that
sounds
obviously wrong.
The only anomaly is that Windows Messenger apparently still displays my
old
email address.
I can't find anywhere in the options/preferences of the prog where to
edit
this.
Help with this much appreciated, thanks.

Cheers now,

Marie
