Yes they do charge for it (£2 per month).  
I suppose it may be free in a hidden bundle where it's difficult to work out 
what each component actually costs.  

I've been in a situation where it was cheaper to have something I wouldn't use 
than not to do so.  I dislike this kind of arrangement!

I thought they charged for it; I don’t think it’s listed in my package, so 
perhaps that’s why. Good for them if it is free.
