Hi,
The display without would be one of the Esys devices. The cheapest is the
Esys 12 at £875.00.

Hello,
I will also be checking it out. It would be interesting to find out whether
they'll have a display without unit, and, if, so, the price?

Hi John,
Indeed you could. But you'd probably still pay the same. There are not
many 32-cell displays under two grand I don't think. Then you'd have to
thinkthe PC as well. Then you'd have two devices to carry about. I really
Ofthis has potential.

As Mike Townsend pointed out in another context on last night's In
mainstreamall of these machines are way behind the curve in terms of the
aboutsoftware they run, so much so that many modern websites are simply not
usable to them. Even the new Euro Braille model which Steve Nutt is
saidto stock is only running windows 7. While i agree with those who've
soldthat the HIMS products are probably currently the best, the person who
userme my U2 Mini actually said that he couldn't envisage any serious web
itever using one of these machines because the browser is just not up to
beingand the process is incredibly slow.

Can anybody tell me if there is a better unit out there?
I need it to do the same kind of stuff but better web access and
theable to use the BBC web site more fully would be nice.
Also being able to click on a LINK in an email and going directly to
justweb site would also be wonderful.
