I bought a recording lead from Maplin Electronics for about £9 some while ago. It plugs into the telephone jack point and the telephone lead then plugs into it. The other end I plug into a cassette recorder but could easily plug into a solid state recorder if I wanted to. To record just press the record button of the machine and it's done. The simplest and cheapest way I could find.
