Hi Trace
The Sonos app has to be one of the most accessible I've ever seen, it's
really great. I don't particularly like the Alexa app though, I personally
find it very sticky. The Sonos Controller is also great on Windows, made
even better with Brian Hartgen's scripts that are freely available. I've
got into Sonos in a big way this year, I absolutely love it.
You can plug your Echo Dot into the line-in socket on a Play5, and I believe
there are a couple of skills that allow you to have very limited control of
your Sonos using Alexa, but I've never used them. Hopefully Sonos will
integrate Alexa into it properly some day.
Kind regards,
Jackie Brown

Subject: [access-uk] sonos and the echo dot
hi
i've recently ordered an echo and a dot and some sonus equipment, i know i
can attach the dot to one of the sonus speakers, a play 5 but i'm wondering
how accewssible they are when paired together,
also, are the alexa and sonos apps accessible, i have them both on my phone
already but don't want to start playing with them and messing them up, any
advice would be much appreciated
thanks
