hi carol well to me there must be a connectivity difficulty with the new beetle
surely it would not have been forgotten as they threw it at us in the news
letter. yes steve i will take a look at these devices is it actually possible
to read the mannual. i read the seika mannual and find the note taker can only
handle very small docs. also with this kind of device can you say be on the
iphone and quickly swap over to put down a note say in the note taker then just
quickly get back to what you were doing on the iphone.

with the u 2 this is possible if you're reading a kindle book and i get a call
for a tuning i can just go to the note taker and jot the persons details down
then straight back to the kindle again. this is because the u 2 can do multi
tasking.

I didn't understand the ESYS manual and, if I remember correctly, I didn't
get enough help to even think I could manage the display.

Don't think I'm inclined to go there again ...

Hi,

Now you need to see the Esys range, they hold the connection very well.
Should have come to see me <Smile>.

All the best

Steve

I was also disappointed about the Focus 40 Blue I really wanted to see. I
saw it, and had a chance to play with it with my iPhone 4s, but
connectivity
is querky to say the least and the spacebar is in an awkward position.
Later
I saw the Optelek Easylink 12 and I really like it, not only for the price
but also for the number of cells and how it seems to just hold the
connection to iOS devices smoothly.

0was hi all on monday i received the summer news letter from sight and sound
and in it there was an article about the new beetle braille display and
how
good it was. come and see it at sight village it said. my friend was there
and went twice to the stand but the guy said he could not find it seems
strange to me i wonder if they still have connection difficulties. just
glad
i did not travel all the way down to see the beetle that never actually
arrived.
