technically speaking if you plan to record a conversation you are
supposed to inform the person at the other end so that they have the
opportinity to object to being recorded.however i disagree with that
requirement ( you wouldnt ask a persons permissino to take a photocopy
of a leterl would you?), besides a recorded conversation can often be
the only reliable evidence of misrepresentatin of the facts.

nope, i'm not in to recording every conversation i have but i recently purchased some items over the phone from currys, they lead me to believe that i was paying forty five pounds to have the tv and sound bar put on the wall and the tv and sound bar paired, the long and the short of it is that its now in the hands of trading standards but it got me thinking, would it be possible to record such conversations from my end as long as i told the person i was speaking with that i'm doing it, i mean they do it, but, not on the sales line apparently.
