Hi Yes I have never heard of lite on drives, I prefer to go for makes I know. It's disconcerting when you read the spec that it only says dvd but can do much more, surely it's better for them to sell something which is better than not display all the specs, surely must sell more because we go by the specs. I was looking at three different drive, the one you mentioned, lite on and freecom. The cheapest lite on drive is £36. Firstly, the CNM drive will write cd and cdrw disks at 24X. I guess they're plugging this as a dvd rewriter, but all dvd rewriter drives will also write cds as well so you've nothing to fear there. I used to recommend Lite on products, however since they are more expensive now than they used to be for some reason I've stopped recommending them. I've always believed that when I make recommendations to people, I look not only at features and specification but also price point considering the competition. All the best, Ibrahim. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adrien" <adriencollins22160@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, June 24, 2009 7:22 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: product recommendation for Adrian > Hi > > Yes I am actually looking at that one but it doesn't say > whether it's just dvd or cd.
