Hi Ibrahim,

No problem. I just thought some may want to be aware of it, because I had
never seen a drive with such requirements.

Thank you for the recommendation too.

All the best

Steve

Hi Steve.

I've just got one as well *smile*. I have Samsung machines which both have
3 ports, but I was aware of this issue. I have a slot loading drive which
is the same in point of fact, it has two USB connections one for power and
one for data however the data connection can provide power as well.
Depending on how much power your netbook is capable of providing to the USB
connection, you may not even need to use the additional power USB port, but
thanks all the same for letting me know, it was thoughtful of you to point
this out.

All the best, Ibrahim.
