It's this fluctuation within sites and dointermittent problems that make
it hard to judge the speed very accurately.

Not sure i understand Carol.  Well, what i can tell you, if this is what

your asking, is the dl speed per kbs is, for me averaging about 120kbs
per 
sec.  This is just an average and I'm on a 1mb connection.  No idea what
the 
kbs per sec is for 2mb and 3mb.  However, as you and everyone knows,
each 
website's kbs dl speed tends to differ from each other and dl speed
always 
flutuates.

I used to dl at about 37kbs per sec when i was on the 300K.  So, you
should, 
i reckon, be hiting the 200 odd dl speed mark, at a guess.
