Hi David,

Are the drivers version 1.30? Regardless, you could try installing
the drivers from Brother at:

http://solutions.brother.com/hl1400/download/drivers.html#winxp

The file name actually suggests they may even be 1.40.

George.

Hi George:

NTFS

It occurs on two occasions:
1. when trying to print a file, having installed the driver for a
Brother HL1440 (old I know!).
2. having rebooted, same error message.

the printer hasn't ben used for some while but was working.

David

What program is telling you that, David? Is the drive formatted NTFS
or FAT32?

George.

Hi all:

Another issue!

Having installed a printer on this machine, I am being told that their
isn't enough space on my hard drive.
160GB of which 26 only is used!

Defrag, PC pitstop optimized, volume check OK

Thoughts welcomed?

David
