HI,
Talk tine could be called call tine, I.e. tine actually spent on phone calls. Standby is the time the phone can be on without making or receiving calls. However there are other drains on the battery life, such as having bluetooth on or the screen on. So you never actually achieve the stated times. All this applies to a battery in first class condition.

Hi All
I just read a review about Nokia 1100
What does this bit bit mean:

"Talktime: Up to 2 - 4.5 hours"
And:
"Standby: Up to 100 - 400 hours

If they are saying talk time is up to 270 minutes what does the
*2* mean as it says *2* - 4.5 hours.

And what does the *100* mean were it says:
Standby Up to *100 -* 400 hours.
Surly that can't be right, 400 hours that's 24000 minutes!
Regards,
Derek
