Go and download the Vision Australia podcasts on how to use Voiceover on
the Mac. You'll be extremely pleased. A quick google will find them.

All Apple store trainers should have a basic knowledge of VoiceOver but
I'm told that a guy called Adam Lee is particularly well up on all it's
features. He works in the Brent Cross store in London. Long shot but I
just thought I'd let you know.

Best of luck. Whatever training you get it is a steep learning curve.

Hi,

Yesterday for an hour I spent a very frustrating time in an Apple store.
Well they could not make the speech read the home page, and the left and
right arrows keys did nothing at all. From then on it just went from bad
to worse. On Thursday I am going to a different Apple store for a
training time with the Mac book air, and if any one on this list has a
Mac book, can you let me know some of the hot keys and how you navigate
around the screen with speech?
David Weston.
