Hi mo,

It's a "feature" of the iPhone or any phone.  When it locks, to conserve
energy, it will disconnect from any Braille display, it's not a limitation
of Esys.

All the best

Steve

Hi Janet.

The display will only connect when the phone is unlocked. I recently used
one and it stayed connected consistently throughout the day. It went off
though when the phone locked itself. I am not sure if this is a display
limitation or not. Order of steps is make sure the phone's unlocked, turn on
your display,    press on bluetooth and it should connect.

Mo.
