You do not need to create a new list as one exists so join it by following 
George's link.

  Forgive me, but I found your email below a little difficult to understand.

   

  Are you asking for help setting up an email list on freelists?

   

  If so what part are you having difficulty with?

   

  Have you looked at

   

  www.freelists.org

   

  and clicked on Create a  list?

   

  The screen after that looks fairly straight forward.  Agree to the Terms, 
give it your email, the list name etc etc.

   

  Shout back if there's anything in particular.
