If you know the exact model number, it may be possible to obtain a complete new
keyboard for anywhere between £25 and £50. You will need someone to change it
for you, but they are generally quite easy to do, and usually come with full
instructions.

Have a look at https://www.laptop-power.co.uk/laptop-keyboard for one supplier.

Subject: [access-uk] broken laptop key

Hi all,

I have a Samsung laptop, and the letter y key plus the little rubber bit
underneath has come off, and at the moment it is being held in place, with a
bit of blue tack. So does anyone know if it is possible to get this repaired?.
Thanks in advance for any help.

All the best

Petrina
