Hi,
Wait till your poor Notetaker can't run apps which are written for
Marshmallow, because it is on Kitkat.
Don't forget, Kitkat is two years old. We'll be back to apps not being
available, just like web sites now on these specialised Braille devices.
Don't forget also, Android N is in beta and will be out in May. Then they
will be three versions behind.
Sounds like a mess to me. It's the equivalent of you going out and buying a
computer, and it comes with Windows XP. Not for me.
All the best
Steve

yes that's right personally for many people it will be a great device making
the use of android much much easier it will be very very interesting though
to see if you can do things like stream cricket commmentarys on it and also
say use the player app i have to listen to the sheffield wednesday games. i
also wonder also if the sendero gps would run on it as i say it will be very
interesting to give it a try. of course because keysoft is the over lay it
uses it's on braille so braille back and talk back will not be used. i will
deffinatly look forward to seing it sometime and somewhere.

Hi John
This may be controversial with those who use Braille on Smart
devices, but I don't like it much. I am not an Android fan, I have
decided, and don't find using Braille Back particularly
straightforward. Obviously Steve will say different and he is
entitled to his view same as I am. And I don't rate Braille on iOS
either, I find it a big laggy at times. I just prefer to listen to
speech when using my Smart devices, I find it quicker and easier
much better.
Horses for courses, do what works for you I say.
Kind Regards,
Jackie Brown

hi all well after about an hour messing around things are a bit
better i can get the braille hard ware keyboard to work now.
it's damn fiddley though and if the braille note touch is loads
better and much more user friendly i can see why people would want
to use it. the apple experience is loads better with braille though.
i wonder how many people do use braille with an android device not
many i bet. so, must get hands on with new devices coming out. maybe
with a braille device which can connect to more than one device would be
