Hi Ed,
If you want Grade two in Android though, you could download BRLTTY. I believe
that does offer Grade 2 input.
This is the beauty of Droid over iOS. You don't like one mode of Braille, get
another.
All the best
Steve

Hi John,
While not necessarily a determining factor, it may be worth bearing in mind
that the Braille Note Touch will allow grade 2 input, which isn’t currently
supported on BrailleBack.
Cheers,
Ed

Hi John
This may be controversial with those who use Braille on Smart devices,
but I don't like it much. I am not an Android fan, I have decided,
and don't find using Braille Back particularly straightforward.
Obviously Steve will say different and he is entitled to his view same
as I am. And I don't rate Braille on iOS either, I find it a big
laggy at times. I just prefer to listen to speech when using my Smart
devices, I find it quicker and easier somehow.
Horses for courses, do what works for you I say.
Kind Regards,

hi all well after about an hour messing around things are a bit better
i can get the braille hard ware keyboard to work now.
it's damn fiddley though and if the braille note touch is loads better
and much more user friendly i can see why people would want to use it.
the apple experience is loads better with braille though.
i wonder how many people do use braille with an android device not
many i bet. so, must get hands on with new devices coming out. maybe
with a braille device which can connect to more than one device would be much
better.
