Maybe phone Apple and try and make sure you have the seriel number of it and
they should be able to help over the phone.

Hi,
some one not on this list, has recently bought the IPhone 5s and put in a 4
digit passcode for the phone, but now she seems to have put in the pass code
wrong too many times and so the phone does not accept it. is there any way to
correct this apart from taking it in to the apple shop, we phoned t mobile and
they said to take it in.
