Hi Jackie,
No, I didn't think it would have a line in socket, but on some machines, you
can use the mic socket as a line in. The Fujitsu Siemens for example, when
you plug in the lead, it will ask if you want to use headphones or line,
then configure the socket accordingly.

Hi steve, no line-in socket on my laptop. Just checked. Having to write and
retrieve my messages on my mobile. The power supply of our sky modem packed
in today for some reason. Waiting for a replacement unit. Great that the
