The speaker in the Moto G 4 Plus is lovely, it's just the one speaker like
most of the line-up. The only exception to that was the Moto G 2 which had
the stereo speakers.

Does the G Plus have stereo front facing speakers or just one mono one?
I recall though that the speakers in Moto phones were particularly clear.

No, the handsets aren't on Nougat, only Nexus phones and probably phones
running ported versions of Android like Cyanogen mod probably have that
upgrade, however it being the latest Moto G handset, it will probably get
Nougat shortly. As for the extras like Moto actions and Moto Display, they
are complementary apps rather than mods to the android OS. Moto Assist has
now been retired in favour of Android's own environmental management
features.

Is it on Nougat yet? They used to be almost there with Google for updates,
but since Lenovo bought them out, updates have slowed down a bit for the
Moto phones.
Also, they are not pure Android, as they have Moto Assist, Driving Mode,
etc, so they do have some additional extras.

I am a big fan of Motorola, so my opinion may be a little slued *smile*, but
I just bought the Moto G Plus directly from them and had it customised to my
own personal specification including front and back colours and power up
greeting. The Motorola phones run a pure clutter free version of Android
which is directly from Google and the phone comes in a variety of memory and
storage options to suit your needs and budget. Go to www.motorola.co.uk for

but it really is a great phone and as usual with Motorola, strikes the right
balance between features and price point.
